1940 - 2007
An ecletic blog by a unique Key West character. He painted thousands of objects -- bicycles, scooters, automobiles, RV's, as well as furniture, musical instruments, office equipment and more -- in his signature style. He operated an art gallery on Caroline Street and was preparing to open a museum based on his art and his history this year. Sadly, Captain Outrageous passed from this plane of existence on February 9, 2007. He is missed by those who loved him.

Godspeed, Captain Outrageous.
Dear friend, inspiring spirit and brilliant soul,
The Great Adventure continues, "Holy Shit What A Ride" indeed, and now you keep on going, from one paradise to another, in a swirl of dazzling colors...
Fare thee well my friend. We all miss you dearly and love you from the bottom of our hearts. We look forward to good times together again...
Love and Light,

Heaven will surely be a more colorful place with the Capt. aboard. Key West won't be the same but his art will live long.
Know one knows whether death, which people fear to be the greatest evil, may not be the greatest good.

Enjoyed (and still do) the Captain's art all around KW when we go there. Love the Mercedes too! Must have been quite a ride indeed to have known him.
